In one recent incident, David showed up at the house to perform the inspection, but the lockbox on the house was missing. He was thus unable to gain access to interior of the property. David knew that the inspection period was expiring for the homeowner, and thus waited at the property for several (5) hours until a locksmith showed up to let him inside the home. He could have gone home and came back another day, but he wanted to finish the job for the new homebuyer. Now that's great service and dedication!

Sunland Home Inspection has always been able to schedule appointments quickly and deliver the inspection report onsite immediately upon completion of the inspection. They also post the inspection to their website, which is very helpful. With the free mold inspection included in the report, their services provide a great value.

To whom it may concern;

On Saturday May 06, 2006 your company, Sunland Home Inspection, performed a residential and commercial inspection on properties that our company, KAN-WIN LLC, was looking at purchasing. Mr. David Lauby and Mr. Mike Lauby were the inspectors that performed this very difficult task.

The reason I say that the inspection must have been difficult is because the residential property was built in 1923 and had not been maintained. The commercial property was actually two properties separated by a fire wall. The commercial property had another dynamic, it was an 18 bed assisted living facility that was occupied by residents with mental disabilities as well as seniors in walkers and wheel chairs.

David Lauby and Mike Lauby performed their inspection without disrupting the health care business or inconveniencing the renters of the residential property. The inspectors were on time, conducted themselves in a professional manner and completed their inspection in the time they had quoted, which was important because 6 of the members of the LLC were to meet with the inspectors and do a walk through upon completion of the inspection.

During the walk through David and Mike were very thorough and took the time to explain and answer any and all questions related to their findings. After the inspection we were given a web address and password so that all the LLC members could go on line to read the final inspection report. This was very beneficial to our organization because of our out of state investors. As stated by the inspectors, a few days later we received the hard copy of the reports. We were very impressed with the professionalism of the book form report (including pictures) and with the time that had obviously been spent on the details.

Because of the thoroughness of the inspection our organization was able to evaluate the data that the Sunland Home Inspectors provided and make and educated decision to purchase both of these properties.

Our experience with Sunland Home Inspection has been a great pleasure and we look forward to doing business with your company again in the future, and will highly recommend your company as well as David Lauby & Mike Lauby to our friends, family and business associates in the market for home inspection services. We had two pipes burst in our apartment. Management was eager to fix them, but we still felt uneasy. We called Sunland when our children started showing symptoms of mold exposure. Mike was friendly and attentive, he answered any and all of our questions. We requested to have some mold samples done and the results confirmed several different toxic molds present in our unit. With this evidence we were able to break our lease and move some where safe. If I could give a higher rating I would.
